I am sooo excited!! Today was such a beautiful day for a photoshoot with this lovely, accomplished young lady. What an exciting time it is! She wanted to be in nature. These photos were taken at the Sawgrass trailhead. What I love the most was that she reminded me so much of her aunt Alicia on the day that her and I graduated. I swear I was looking into the past for a moment. I love that I have photographed this whole family. I feel privileged to be the one capturing special moments like these.
Believe it or not, this day wasn’t looking all that nice a few hours prior to the shoot. We were afraid of getting rained on. Together we decided that the photoshoot needed to happen and we hoped for the best and prepared worst. I remember how thankful we were for the beautiful weather that we had. Mister Sun came out and we got lucky. It’s true what they say, the sun comes after the rain. Jordyn had her grandmother’s pendant on her blue gown.
This was very special to her and I am happy that she brought it. She was prepared with the right wardrobe, her make up was on point, everything was perfect! The sunset was breathtaking. As she wasn’t facing the sunset, she wasn’t able to enjoy the view. I remember though when the shoot was over, she turned around and was amazed by the beautiful sunset. it really was a perfect day for a sunset graduation photoshoot.
I used the natural light. the golden tones and blues are just amazing. Congratulations to the conquering graduate! These were a few of my favs! I hope you guys love them just as much as I did!
